Almost immediately, I wanted to rewrite the ending to the movie "Once". I would call it "Once Again". The main characters would have gone back to their old relationships, unable to stop thinking about each other. The old relationships would end finally and then two years later, the main characters would run into each other by pure chance and fall in love, get married, and write a beautiful song about it!
