Wildcard: One Minute

Wildcard: This category can be absolutely anything. Absolutely. Anything.

The premise behind the writing prompt site The One Minute Writer is that you have 1,440 minutes in the day - use one of them to write. After you use one of them to write, what thing could you do for just sixty seconds each day to improve your life?

We Have A Winner!!! 04/26/10
Snuggle. With my dogs, with my husband, with anyone (well, maybe not a stranger). There is something that makes life so much better with a hug or a cuddle!
Winner: Heather
Reason: I agree. It doesn't take long for a good snuggle and things seem so much cheerier after!

Aww, Cate, you rock! Thanks for the shout-out!

When it's clean up time, and the kids won't move,
When I'm just stressed out, and losing my groove,
When I start to seethe,
If I could just BREATHE
For a minute, my life would quickly improve!

Reflect. Reflect on what ever is causing deep joy or great anxiety. Take that 60 seconds without interruption, without frustration, without pressure and study it. Maybe then I would enjoy those precious moments more and handle the stressful ones a bit better.

Think, but not over analyze about everything that is to be grateful for.

Pop the top off my Bud Light Lime, pour in a little salt, drink, kick my feet up on a chair on the deck, put my face up to the sun...and ask my hubby to bring me another drink!
