Letters: Given either a first line or a set-up, write a letter appropriate to the situation.
Leave a note on a windshield apologizing to a stranger for hitting their car.

We have a Winner! (12/19/09)
Please apolgize for me to the driver of the car parked next to you that I accidentally hit. Much appreciated.
Winner:TM (@trmink)
Reason: I'm totally trying this next time I hit someone's car! I mean, not that I've ever done that. Or ever will. Just, you know, in case.

Um, your car? Sorry 'bout that.
I meant to just give it a pat.
I guess you could say
I got carried away
With my nifty new baseball bat.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I apparently "bumped" your car as I was getting out of a parking spot. I did not know your bumper was caught on my trailer hitch, and when I did notice it, I was almost three blocks away. I did return your bumper, and am leaving you this note so that you can explain to your insurance company that someone did the damage your car, and that you did not self inflict the damage.

Didn't see your car,
That camouflage paint works great--

Dear sir,
I apologize for crashing into the side of your car and leaving some "minor scratches" behind. During the night my buddy Pops and I were drag racing down Deadman's Hill - shouldn't you know better than to park on Deadman's Hill? Anyway, Pop's was talking smack about how his ride was faster than mine because it was all pimped out with chrome and bling so I told him to step up and bring it. I was in the lead and would have run had Pops not used his front wheel to bounce off of my rear wheel and send me skidding across the road and into you brand new Lexus. That dirty old man is a cheater! ALthough I do agree that the headlights on his wheelchair did give him a distinct advantage. I would love to offer you my insurance company, but getting drivers insurance on a power chair is hell. I can't stay to apologize, the home does bed checks every two hours. But just think of the story you can tell. Oh, and I suggest you park elsewhere next Friday as we have a scheduled grudge match!
Sincerely
Little Old Lady From Pasadena

Sorry I hit your car with my bike. Luckily, your window absorbed most of the impact of my newspaper basket, (which is still inside your car.)
There are only a few scratches on the door and a small crack by the door handle.

Again, I am sorry, but I think your Corvette must have some kind of insurance to get it fixed.

p.s. Please leave my paper basket on the curb, I will get it later.

Thank you.
