Very Important Winner Announcement! (12/21/09)
I love you, I'm proud of you, and for your own good, NO you are not having that. You're lovely when you smile (usually as I was stomping around!)Winner: s'me
My mother is great. (She doesn't say that - I do!)
Reason: It amused me that she felt the need to clarify that it was not her mother speaking in the end. Plus, those are great things for a mother to say. I may be jealous.

Well, my mom says no. No way. Not as long as you live under this roof, and many more rants. Each time she started saying something, her voice was an octive higher than the last time. My hands were on the glass table top, and I could feel the glass vibrate, and I thought about the Crystal in the china cabinet.
She was really screaming now,I tried to explain to her that things were different now than when she was young. In order for a guy to get a good looking girlfriend, he needed an edge, and that a tattoo would give me that edge. I mean no other 15 year old would have a real tattoo from a tattoo parlor.All I wanted a a "Superman Emblem" on my right arm, geez.
not to go outside with wet hair or you will catch a cold (and most of the time she was right, LOL)
betty

I get way too busy, I can't help but fret.
Life moves at the speed of a souped-up Corvette.
The voice in my head
Whispers, "Mom always said,
'The hurrier you go, the behinder you get.'"
It's not what she said
That I'll remember for years;
It's how she said it.
