So I Have This Friend: Give your best advice to this friend.
So I have this friend... She just bragged to me about a bunch of ways she cheated on her taxes last week in order to receive a big refund. What, if anything, should she do?
05/07/10 - No winner on this due to lack of response.
"Do you seriously think your actions are justified? Don't you think your dishonesty is unfair to other hardworking tax-paying citizens who are doing their part for the country and society? Whether or not you realize mistake, I can't change that. BUT, I pray that you are not caught. God bless you."
You might inform her that you will think about whether you will or won't give her a BIG loan for the fines and penalties she'll get when the IRS catches her.....and believe me, they WILL catch her! Oh yes, they will!!
We all greet taxes with revulsion and hate, But paying these taxes, well, it's our fate. When you cheat, you see, You pass your taxes to me, So if you could pay them, that would be great.
